Josh Madine is a composer, producer and arranger based in London. His music career began at the age of 10, when he first appeared as a soloist with the acclaimed boy-choir Libera, performing on stage, screen and record alongside the likes of Aled Jones, José Carreras and Andrea Bocelli.
Today, Josh plays a central role in Libera’s creative output, working as a composer, producer and arranger on their studio projects, and pianist in their touring chamber orchestra. With his firm foundation in choral music, he has become a sought-after conductor and arranger for singers, receiving commissions from VOCES8, Inner Voices and Grammy Award-winner, Angélique Kidjo.
His portfolio also includes production work for jazz vocal ensembles, Vox and Standard Deviation, as well as pop royalty, Boy George, for whom he has also contributed backing vocals. Josh writes and performs original material under his solo moniker, Almanac, and as one half of the folk/indie duo, Laurelai.
